Isla Hodgson is a Zoologist, researcher for factual science film production, and a wildlife journalist. She currently lives in Scotland where she divides her time (sort of) between studying for a PhD in conservation conflict and adventures in the wilds (although is possibly more bias towards the latter).
Isla has a strong passion for communication and engagement, and is currently Associate Director of the youth nature network, A Focus on Nature (AFON), and has just written her first book, based on this very blog.
She is happiest when trudging about in the outdoors, looking for wildlife and travelling. Preferably with a dog, but she is still working on that.
